Sunday the 24 feb 2013 sees Howard on Family Fortunes along with Michael Vaughan, it was great to meet Vernon Kay and the whole team that put the show on.
Our team donated their winnings to Sheffield Childrens Hospital as Mike is the patron there.
Any money they get is well spent on equipment which helps the children progress with any condition they may have, and helps the doctors and staff continue to do such a fantastic job.
This sunday we hope the team do a great job of raising some money.
Check out the official web page, and remember these fab littie gems are available to purchase in the salon.
Thanks to all our clients who voted for mike over the last two weeks. He has done amazingly well and is loving every minute, so please vote again this week.
Howard was in london for last weeks show and met the other dancing stars. One of his favorites has to be Johnny Ball who by all accounts was a smashing fella. He was very upset that he got voted off via the dance off. However loved every minute of being part of the show.
Lets hope Vaughany does well this week and please keep them votes coming in.
Strictly Come Dancing starts this weekend and Howards brother in law Michael is hoping his dancing feet will dazzle the judges.
We will be supporting the show full time and getting Vaughany fired up to win. In 2005 he captained the England team and won the ashes. He has now gone into the history books as the finest captain ever .
He is a winner through and through and this will be a challenge he will not take lightly, as always the gentleman lets see how he glides around the floor with his partner.
We cannot urge you enough to help us with the votes as a win would be great.
Sid Owen and Jerry Hall already have been named along with Richard Arnold as the other contestants, however ive seen Michael dance on a few occasions and let me tell you…….
he can throw a few shapes.
So lets support him. When the voting starts please phone !!!!
England captain Michael Vaughan
London 2012 has been,
and rocketed Britain yet again into the lime light. As a nation we have proved that nobody does it better !
I was one of the lucky ones to get to the olympic park , and cheer the british squad to gold. I have to say that the whole organization and quality of the park was fantastic and made me feel proud to be british.
We are looking forward to the paralympics and wish all the athletes the very best of british.
I also checked out some very unusual barnetts along the way sometimes you just cant help looking.
What a fantastic week it has been. All the staff were celebrating the queens 60 years on the throne and getting into the bank holiday mood. It was brilliant to see every business in the area supporting this event. Here at the salon we pride ourselves on the fact that we provide great British hairdressing and always will. Nobody puts on a show like the British !!! And that is why I stress the fact of our talent in the hair world and that we are proud to fly the union flag on our marketing and promo stuff.
If you feel like a proper British haircut then call us. Have a great weekend.
Hacienda night club started thirty years ago to the day. And i was very privileged to be invited by Peter Hook from New Order , the Hac was a favorite haunt of mine for many years, and to go back in time on monday night was amazing.
Dj Graeme Park rocked the place as did Dave Haslem. I now feel that the Hacienda dream of a re open should be considered. It all took place in the underground carpark at the Hacienda buildings and residents had given their approval, which was fantastic.
Starting in the eighties the Hac was originally a place for live bands to get their names on the manchester map, it went from indie bands performing in the early days to names such as Madonna and Jocelyn Brown.
By 1988 it had the biggest names in dance music performing, and the worlds finest djs.
To sum up my night…… unreal.
Please Peter bring back the HACIENDA !
Having spent last week in London, cutting hair for sports stars, appearing at the Stand up for sports relief show, at the west ends Bloomsbury theatre. It was nice to get back into the salon. I always enjoy London at the weekends, it has so many different fashion statements just walking down one street. I cant help but take note of all the good styles a big city has to offer. From top to toe fashion in hair and clothes had me fired up. But back in the salon this week it gave me inspiration to start putting together my portfolio for this year.
Have a great weekend !
